- Safety Glasses - protect you from Gypsum dust in the drywall
- Drywall Saw - its sharp point achieves a quick, clean cut through the drywall core
- Drywall Hammer - has a tapered head to help lock the compound in place
- Drywall Screw Gun - allows the screw to go in just below the surface of the drywall sheet
- Utility Knife - use to score the drywall panel before snapping into place
- Drywall Screws - best installation method to ensure a secure connection
- Mixing Tools - use a bucket, paddle or drill attachment and water to mix joint compound (if powdered)
- Joint Compound - premixed or powdered variety secures tape in between panels
- Taping Knives - use knives 1-6 inches wide to embed tape along seams and spread joint compound
- Tape - paper or fiberglass mesh tape reinforces seams between panels and repairs cracks
- Sanding Tools - smooths imperfections after other steps are completed
- Corner Beads - protects exposed outside angles from wear and tear
