We hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday season and a great start to 2017. Over the past several months, we have been in negotiations to purchase Ed Price Build Materials.
As of December 30th, those negotiations were finalized. On behalf of the entire Holmes Building Materials team, we are excited to announce that Ed Price BUilding Materials will become Holmes Building Materials.
We plan on completely renovating the current Ed Price Building Materials facility to provide you with a better retail experience. The current Ed Price Building Materials store will become the Holmes Building Materials flagship location in Baton Rouge. This expanded 9-acre facility on Airline Highway will allow us to consolidate our Baton Rouge locations and still give us plenty of room to grow. We’ll move our Greenwell Springs location, our Sherwood Forest Showroom and our Door Shop by the end of 2017.
These improvements will give you a more convenient location for parking and loading, as well as a larger retail store and showroom to better serve you. Furthermore, we’ll have additional team members and fleet to continue to deliver the service that you expect from Holmes Building Materials.
Lastly, we’ll continue to operate our Denham Springs location as you’ve come to expect. It will not be moving.
