As fall and cooler weather (hopefully) approaches, your patio or front porch may start to sound a little more appealing than in the blistering heat. If you’re looking to give your outdoor space a rustic glow without wires, then these mason jar patio lights are the perfect addition.
- Purchase wide mouthed mason jars and remove the lids.
- Spray the inside of the jar with a light coat of frosted glass spray.
- Once dry, trace the metal lid inserts with permanent marker onto a sheet of plexiglass.
- Cut out the circles using aviator snips and smooth rough spots with sandpaper.
- Remove the top portion (the solar cell and the light bulb) of mini pathway stake lights.
- Glue the cell to the center of the plexiglass ring.
- Reassemble and repeat until your whole space is lit!
